Auckland has the largest Polynesian population of any city in the world. In Māori Auckland's names are Tāmaki Makaurau, and the transliterated version of Auckland, Ākarana.

Overall: I loved Auckland! It is a wonderfull city, with many beautiful places to visit, wonderful parks, public transport is good, traffic is not a big problem and people is very polite. I did not make a lot of friends, just my homestay and her family and some students of Embassy CES, but the trip and all the experience I had at Auckland were wonderful, amazing.

Overall: Auckland is very safety, friendly and has spectacular places to do something, I think that is the best town to study English, because you can go to wherever places without security advertisement or risk to suffer bad experiences.

Overall: I made a lot, a lot of very good friends and met a lot of very good people as well !! Auckland is a very good city and it's not far from the others so we can move to visit more to NZ !! I think the worst thing is transport, it's quiet expensive and not really on time but it's ok cuz when we are there, we've time :)

Overall: Lots of nice parks, museums and restaurants. The Zoo and the Skytower are great. Dont go to Kelly Tarltons, biggest waste of money ever!
When you choose Auckland as your place for studying Englisch than make sure that you can travel around the country after that because Auckland isnt the real New Zealand and your view on the country and the people would be wrong. Overall: In Auckland i felt very safety, i knew that i could walk in peace and with no fear to walk alone. People were polite and i was choked with the cleaness of the city.
But i was far from the down town and it is very expensive the public transport, then it was hard go out and i did not go out in the night.

Overall: Living in NZ es really expensive and even more for people from southamerica. It is a small and very quite city. I couldn't travel so much but I enjoyed my time there. Also the public transport is expensive. You can find any kind of food and cooked for experts. In Auckland city you find people more from china and india, I didn´t like so much that because they are very selfish sometimes. I wanted to meet kiwi people more than anything and I could do it, :), People in general is very friendly.

Overall: Auckland is an alive, active and interesting city. There are plenty of attraction in the city every body can enjoy them, but some areas, especially in city center is not so clean. Lots of cigaret stubs are visible in some streets!

Overall: Auckland es una ciudad muy interesante, en la que confluye gente de muchas nacionalidades diferentes (asiáticos sobre todo), y es algo desordenada en su plano callejero, pero a cambio es la puerta de entrada a un país maravilloso, con unos paisajes increíbles y que merece la pena descubrir.

Overall: I had my greatest moment in New Zealand. Actaully I wans't so lucky with my homestay or flatting so I had to commute for a distance. One thing I dislike in NZ life was transportation system that I had to wait for the bus at least 1 hour on weekends and the last bus was 8 PM. However Auckland city provides good things not only for citizen but for foreingers as well. Especially Auckland Library has various foreign books in their languages, free art gallery, museum and so on, and location of LSI is so good to reach those places.

Overall: I met a loot of friends, but i didn't have time to visit a lot of places in Aucland.
The best things in Aucland, that i felt safaty and the people are very nice to the turist. the city is olso clean.
I didn't felt something worst in the city. -
Overall: Es una ciudad muy limpia y ordenada, que te provee de los aspectos más importantes de una ciudad, como el ocio, el transporte, la gastronomía de muchos paises, es una ciudad muy cosmopolita, occidentalizada y que te sirve de puente para conocer el resto de la isla a traves de sus buena comunicación por tierra, mar y aire.

Overall: Auckland is a big city and has many different and interesting faces. Especially likeable are the different styles of architecture in the suburbs. I've never seen so many and beautiful and nicely "gardened" parks like in Auckland. So I almost visited every single park in the city. The parks give a large opportunity to pursue different kinds of activities, like running, playing football, BBQing, realxing etc.

Overall: This was the best time I've ever had....
I met a lot of wonderful people...But Auckland ist much more expensive as Germany.
But Aukcland is a great city and you can visit wonderful places. -
Overall: The bus system was a nightmare. That was the main reason why I moved from my homestay to the city center. Always late and the last bus way to early.
The travel agency working with LSI Acukland was a bit expensive. We organised our trips for 40% less price than the Auckland Adventure price.
The best thing of being there was the amazing amount of friends I made (and traveling around, of course). Since I left NZ (DEC 2011) I visited 15 friends in South Korea, 5 in Japan, 2 in Thailand, traveled with one Polish guy in Thailand and I'm about to be visited by more friends in the near future.
