The city of Cambridge (i/ˈkeɪmbrɪdʒ/ KAYM-brij) is a university town and the administrative centre of the county of Cambridgeshire, England. It lies in East Anglia, on the River Cam, about 50 miles (80 km) north of London. According to the United Kingdom Census 2001, its population was 108,863 (including 22,153 students), and was estimated to be 125,717 in mid-2010. There is archaeological evidence of settlement in the area in bronze age and Roman times, and under Viking rule Cambridge became an important trading centre. The first town charters were granted in the 12th century, although city status was not conferred until 1951.

the best thing is the fact that you can go everywhere just riding your bike, you don't need anything else! but the worst thing is surely the weather, because is unpredictable.

On my second day in Cambridge I was in a service in St. Marys. There were very friendly, interested and helpful people.
There has no bad things. I'd a wonderful week in Cambridge, unfortunately I took only one week for learning English in Cambridge.

Cambridge is a lovely place! Even it rains a lot, the city is a great place to live. It's small and cozy. And for not being a big city, it's easy to get around, mainly by bike. I love to be able to go everywhere by bike! And Cambridge is a quiet safety city. And it's amazing that you can make friends around the world, knowing and comparing diverse cultures.

I love Cambridge, lots of parks, shops, pubs, collegues, sport facilities... The truth is that during my stay last March we enjoyed fantastic weather, and that made my opinion of the city even more grateful. Also the people, the mixture of natonalities, the open mind, and the disposure of the people to do things.
I did lots of friends and still in contact with some of them.

Well Cambridge is the best city to go in England! It is small, but not too small, so that you can cycle everywhere where you want! The night life in Cambridge, for international students, is great! Every night you can go to an other club and you'll meet a lot of people from the language schools. An other thing that I liked were the closing hours from the supermarkets, they were open till late and everyday. If you wanted to go shopping on Sunday it wasn't a problem because you could go to the centre and the shops were open.
If I made a lot of friends, YES! I met so many new people whom all...

For me, it was awesome! I bought a second-hand bike as soon as I arrived and it allowed to go everywhere I wanted to in a short time. The city is even safe enough to go to night clubs by bicycle and going back home with it as well. English people are always happy to help you if you're lost or if you're looking for a special shop or whatever... I've made an incredible number of friends that have changed my life, my opinion, my point of view... I had amazing parties with them and until now, I think that my Cambridge time was the time of my life!

I liked Cambridge very much because there are many traditional and ancient and historical buildings but on the other hand it is also very good for shopping or to go to the cinema. Moreover, there are many young people from all over the world, so thats why in Cambridge the atmosphere is very international.
The best thing in Cambridge is punting at the river Cam and that there are so many things to see ( King`s College and the Choir) and the worst things is sometimes the traffic on the streets, especially in the afternoon ( The buses are sometimes very regardless).
Yes i made many friends...

Best experiences living in Cambridge was that everything is near and you meet a lot of interesting people. Also, it quite close to London and other lovely villages, such as Elly, Norwich...
Worst things: British people are really violent during the weekend because they drink a lot and look for fights. Many of my friends have problems because of this kind of behaviour.

One of the most beautiful is going punting because it's typical of Cambridge and you'll see all the best universities in there and so a piece of the unknow Cambridge.
Another suggest is: you must going to visit some university, they're wonderful!
