Schools to Avoid in Toronto
Please becareful with some schools in Toronto - ILAC, Embassy, ILSC. There are many, many students from Saudi Arabia in these schools. The Saudis have a special agreement with these schools and only send students to these schools. So you hear a lot of Arabic. Also they are big franchises. They do not have a good systems. For example, I have Advanced Grammar but Intermediate speaking skills. I was put into an Intermediate class. They did not separate my grammar skill and my speaking skill. And the class was very big with 18 people.
The last point was that my teacher changed ALOT. Almost every week I had a new teacher. Some quit or something happened. I don't know. But it was very hard to study in this manner. I was not comfortable. So becareful with these schools when you study there.
