Students: With an account on ESL Explorer it is possible to browse through reviews of hundreds of English language schools around the world written by students who have studied there. The ESL Expert suggests schools and programs that match your interests, passions, and career goals while the social features are designed to help you make local friends wherever you are. At ESL Explorer, you can even access study tools like practice exams left by teachers and schools, and see details about local conversation clubs and other events.
Teachers: Build a network of colleagues around the world to share teaching tips and tools. Find information on local hotspots while you teach abroad. Also, become a free-lance mentor with our ESL Expert System simply by doing what you are already passionate about - helping students.
What is the ESL Expert System?
The ESL Expert System is a tool designed to help students looking to study abroad, find the perfect school based on their needs and preferences. Students provide optional information such as location, start dates, and interests and the Expert System will give you a list of matching schools complete with ratings and reviews from former students. Students also have the option of consulting a teacher mentor. Through the ESL Expert, students can directly enroll into to any school and program around the world.
I am not sure where or what I want to study, can the Expert System still help me?
Of course! If you are beginning your search or refining a small list of options, our ESL Expert can help. Input your preferences to see your matches, or browse schools by rating, city, programs offered or even by school name. At ESL Explorer, you can find information and apply to a growing list of hundreds of schools across the world.
I am a teacher, how can I become an ESL Explorer mentor?
After you create your teacher account, click on the 'Students' tab and go to 'Training and Tips'. Here, you will be able to find more information and send a request to become an mentor.
How do I obtain a beta invite code?
There are two ways to obtain a beta invite code. A friend (student or teacher) who has an activated account may send one to you - an email will be sent with the invite code. Or you may request an invite code from ESL Explorer by sending an email to contact@eslexplorer.com. In the subject line write, 'Beta Invite Code Request'. You may also use the 'Contact Us' link located at the bottom of our website.
